Prepping Projects

One of the problems with knitting at 3 a.m. is that the pattern chosen must be one that is not too complicated and can be easily picked up if the knitter is interrupted fifteen times in five minutes. So, I'm currently testing out the Maja shawl pattern in the winter Knitty. The sample swatch had to be ripped out, because I didn't quite understand the pattern. I hope to get it figured out this week and then a good start on the shawl sometime in the next two weeks.

This is the first project that I'm doing for myself, by the way. I've given away absolutely everything else I've ever made.

The mosaic coasters are also in the prep stage, as I'm getting the tiles cut to the proper size. They should be done in the next couple of weeks as well.
