Update
Well, last year's resolution to find something to blog about at least once a month sure went out the window. It's not that I wasn't busy; it's that I was almost too busy! So, a catch-up post.
Last year, I made two more checkerboard blankets--one cream colored and the other blue--given to others.
In July, I got engaged! Wedding set for this August--let the panic attacks commence!
I started another pair of KISS socks in a wonderful green colorway from Black Trillium. This first is done and I'm halfway through the second. It was interrupted for the following Christmas knitting:
Fetching: a pair of fingerless mitts in pomegranate Comfy Worsted from Knit Picks for Stephanie. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture before giving them to her. She indicated they were a little large, so she threw them through the washer and dryer, and they stretched out considerably. I'll be trying this pattern again.
Shady Beanie: one in Coal/Thyme for Charlie, one Coal/Midnight Blue for Chris, and and one Bittersweet Heather (brown) and Evergreen for Arnie. Arnie's is a little longer, as he likes to roll the bottom of his hats. Charlie decided his was too long (it just covered his ears), so he put it through the washer. It felted and shrank to half the size. Chris took one look at it and decided his hat was just right.
I'll be getting back to the other sock in a week or so.
