Down The Fiber Rabbit Hole

I swore I was never going to spin.   Why would I want to go through such a time-consuming process, when I could buy beautiful yarn and get straight to knitting without any delay?  I certainly do not need another hobby where items made will accumulate, if not promptly given away.

EXCEPT

I keep eyeballing beautiful hanks of hand-spun yarn and wondering if I can make something that looks like that.  

My beginner's spinning kit is in the mail.
