Whispered Siren Song



If you and I have been friends for a period of time, or you are family, then you can expect to be the victim of a random act of knitting.   I mean random only in when it appears, as the choice of color or pattern is very deliberate.

This is Whisper, by Nunoco:


It was a lovely spin, and the composition of the batt made it easy to preserve the color gradient, which I did by z-stripping it.


The recipient lives along the Sound where it is cool, so I chose to make Siren Song, a wrap full of beautiful waves.   It's not a project unless it's completely ripped out at least once, and such was the case here.  When I finished the set of large waves, I discovered a glaring error.  Since I didn't like the way they looked anyway, it all came out, and I decided on a wrap of medium waves.
