The Addlepated Flamingo

This is The Flamingo, by Nunoco.   With my eyes on the goal, which is a scarf for a friend, I forgot to do everything I meant to with this fiber.  I forgot to split and weigh it, and I forgot to count how many yards, although I'm guessing around 300.   I did manage to remember to measure wraps per inch, which came in at 12-14.

The fiber is merino and bamboo, and I think I would comb the bamboo in a little bit, if I did this again.  I spun it from the fold, and the bits where it's mostly or only bamboo had a tendency to drift apart, while plying.  It is no fault of the fiber; it's because I'm still learning.  It came out a little bit thick and thin, but it's knitting up nicely.
